Price notification processing fee

The price notification processing fee is EUR 25 for each notified price. The fee is applied to price notifications regarding medicinal products subject to the price notification procedure under the reference price system. The client will be invoiced a fixed processing fee after the reference price period has been closed by the Pricing Board.

The Pharmaceuticals Pricing Board will confirm the amount and the grounds for the processing fee. The Government Shared Services Centre for Finance and HR (Palkeet) manages the fees which will be invoiced by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health.

The processing fee is invoiced as an e-invoice or, in the absence of an e-invoice address, by post. Invoicing by email is not possible. The payment term is 21 days and outside Finland 30 days from the invoice date.

The applicants shall provide their exact invoicing address and contact person and the person’s contact details as follows:

• company name (required)
• invoicing postal address (required)
• contact person’s name, phone and email address (required)
• VAT number
• EDI code / e-invoice address
• Operator ID
• PO-numbers etc.

Provisions on processing fees are laid down in the Decree of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health on chargeable services of the Pharmaceuticals Pricing Board.
